I have become an official animal namer. I have discovered 32! different never before seen animals so far this summer. To give you a glimpse into this unseen and forbidden life of animal naming, I'll leave you with an entry from my journal. Shhhhh! the naming community mustn’t hear of this exposure though.

Journal Entry 2005 - 07 - 27
I was walking timidly by the rock wall when just barely I caught a glimpse of animal number #31 (the Stripped Rock Frog) it was a medium sized frog, smooth, a dark green to blend in with the dirt, but not to be mistaken as a toadish color either. Along its back ran two light yellow (almost white) stripes, comparable to the racing stripes on the top of cars. I was amazed, but just as I was finishing up my analogy the frog, was gone, into the land of rocks for eternity. Later that day after deciding against wasting my life away indoors I went for a brisk jog along a country road on the other side of the river, just down the road from my estates. As I made my way up the hill I barely caught it, but out of the corner of my eye, why yes! #32. #32 was a wily lil' fella' he was a nice sized lizard maybe 4 to 5 inches long, the color of the brown/red clay. This lizard however had unchareristic agility, he beat through the high grass like a kangaroo from side to side using his front legs to navigate its body and its back to thrust off. I had never seen anything of such before in my life. Thus I discovered the Southwestern Texas Dashing Lizard. My summer has become riddled with the meticulous task of capturing these animals I named for study, and adventures into the back country to discover more of these unnamed beasts. With no certainty of what tomorrow will hold, I move on forging an everlasting bond between myself and nature. There is only one certainty in this job, move with haste, or you might be the next to be named.

Well I hope everyone is having a good summer, cause I know mines been amazing with this new job as an animal namer.

Sincerely,
Mattholimew Kain Taylor
